Rob Bovett

J.D. County Counsel for Lane County, Oregon, and former District Attorney for Lincoln County, Oregon

Rob Bovett has served as a county lawyer in Oregon for over 30 years. His career has focused heavily on creating and implementing diversionary programs in the justice system for people suffering from addiction or behavioral health issues. Rob also teaches Drug Law and Policy at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, and is the author of many of Oregon’s drug laws, including those relating to meth lab control. Rob has also written many published essays about drug policy, has provided hundreds of public presentations on drug policy issues, and has appeared on numerous radio and television programs.
