Marie Waldron

A member of the California State Assembly, advocate for patient access to treatment on the Assembly Health Committee, Vice Chair of the Select Committee on Infectious Disease in High Risk Communities, and member of the Mental Health Caucus, the Mental Health Systems Prevention Support Team for the North Inland Community Prevention Program, and the Select Committee on Health Care Delivery and Universal Coverage, Assemblywoman Marie Waldron is also a former member of the San Diego County Opioid Task force. She authored the H.O.P.E. Act (AB182 Heroin & Opioid Public Education Program) 2017/18 and has been honored as Legislator of the Year for the CA Life Sciences Association and also for the California Chronic Care Coalition.
