Her recent scholarly products focus on emotion and reward processing in individuals with alcohol use disorder. Her current funding supports a 5-year, longitudinal exploration of neural circuits underlying alcohol use disorders in men and women Veterans and how these brain circuits relate to maintained recovery versus relapse risk. Her long term research program goals focus on understanding these markers of treatment response to ultimately provide more precise mental health interventions for Veterans with addiction.
