A Professor of Psychiatry at Stanford University, Dr. Anna Lembke serves as the Medical Director of Stanford Addiction Medicine, Program Director for the Stanford Addiction Medicine Fellowship, and Chief of the Stanford Addiction Medicine Dual Diagnosis Clinic. She was one of the first in the medical community to sound the alarm regarding the opioid epidemic and is author of the bestselling book, Drug Dealer, MD – How Doctors Were Duped, Patients Got Hooked, and Why It’s So Hard to Stop. Her ultimate goal is to reduce the harm done to patients by health care providers who lack the knowledge, training, and skills to target and treat addiction.
